Des programme, we offer world-class design expertise that can help you become a skilled creator of tomorrow. We have designed this programme to strike a good balance between vocation and theoretical approaches. This will help you get a good hands-on and scholastic exposure, which is necessary to outshine in the industry.During this four-year programme, you can specialise in any of the two disciplines: Product Design and User Experience Design. Product design refers to the process of effective idea generation in the development of a new product. In the second specialisation, you will learn how to enhance user satisfaction with a product by improving its usability, accessibility, and design. Here, our well-experienced faculty will teach you the core concepts such as design fundamentals, user research, design prototyping, user interface and more.

Product Design

In this specialisation, you will learn the entire process that goes into developing a new product This starts from ideating, sketching, prototyping, and designing and finally developing the new product. After completing this programme, you can explore varied career prospects such as Product Designer, Interior and Spatial designer, Colour Technologist and more.

User Experience Design

Here, you learn how any user interacts with a product or service. In this specialisation, we will introduce you to the core elements of visual design, data visualisation, storytelling, usability engineering and more. Today, many companies are looking for UX designers. So, if you want to build a degree that can help you grow, you should join our institute and pursue this degree.

Fees & Scholarships

As we aim to create professionals that can excel in the industry, we take care of your financial need. Hence, we have started offering scholarships from Rs. 40000 to Rs. 100000. This financial aid is awarded to only those students who demonstrate a passion to learn and lead a career that can create a positive impact on the diverse business environment. Admissions Guide

MIT-WPU follows UGC-specified eligibility norms while reviewing students’ admission applications.To be eligible for admission to any of our Bachelor of Design, candidates are required to meet the following criteria :

  • HSC (10+2) from any stream with English as passing Subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for Reservation category) in aggregate.
  • Entrance Test + Studio / Portfolio Assessment
  • Phase-I

  • 40% weightage to the score obtained in entrance exams such as : UCEED 2019 ( or NID 2019 ( etc. or MIT-WPU Design Aptitude Test 2019 (MIT-WPU DAT)
  • Phase-II

  • 60% weightage Studio Assessment (performance over a given task) Portfolio Assessment (Personal Interview)
